💡About our host: Christian Wattig
Christian Wattig is an energetic, enthusiastic FP&A leader with 12+ years of experience at multinational consumer goods giants and fast-growing tech start-ups. As an entrepreneur, he teaches FP&A skills to finance teams and business leaders via his live online course FP&A Bootcamp. He’s also FP&A Solution Architect at Datarails.
Christian discovered his passion for teaching when he led the Finance Learning and Development team at Unilever, creating Finance courses for his colleagues. To continue developing his own skill set, he earned his MBA at NYU Stern School of Business, specializing in Leadership and Change Management.
A few facts about Christian:
- He has a 10-month-old son, André.
- Learning new skills is his favorite pastime - he enjoys (beginner) guitar lessons and reading everything he can find about marketing for online businesses.
- “Whenever you step outside of your comfort zone, you’ll see that it grows.” This was the advice he received from his mentor twelve years ago that inspired him to try to become a leader himself.
